Our Purpose Plan and Pursuit

The Project

The GBI Emerald Veterans Project is now creating a small business support infrastructure that connects participants with the national mission of “Rebuilding the American Dream” . The program uses the integration of our military veteran leadership, former athletes and business professionals to create opportunities in our inner and rural cities. We target our focus on military veterans, youth (12-16) / young adults (16–26) and social entrepreneurs. The program is being casted and filmed for implementation.

GET STARTED NOW

THE VETERAN IMPERATIVE

With thousands of military Veterans re-integrating into society, it is imperative to create a local infrastructure to support them. The other focus for us is the large amount of youth entering into the business force each year from high school, trade, graduate and post graduate schools.

GBI-Emerald Veterans is a cause marketing movement and challenge campaign that mobilizes veteran communities and the general public to give support to a business infrastructure system that empowers our returning military veterans, and under-served communities in self-employment training/ entrepreneurship and small business development.

Business Courses
CAMPAIGNS

In the late 90s GBI partnerships created a multimedia, entertainment, technology business incubator. Located in the Historic Core of Downtown LA, This project started with a 10% occupancy rate. Within 2 years, GBI’s Incubator was working with 50 new media companies that attracted $ millions in venture capital and occupied 100% of the building, creating hundreds of new jobs, revitalizing Downtown, and earning GBI Founders the Official White House Millennium Council Award in recognition of GBI as a model of the White House designed program, Honor the Past- Imagine the Future.

COOPERATIVE INCUBATION

GBI partnered with the Port of Los Angeles to create a series of interactive workshops focused on Small and Mid-sized Companies partnering with and doing Business successfully with China. These workshops brought together Chinese buyers from China, U.S. Bankers, Export Officials, and other partners crucial for trading successfully with China to over 400 small and mid-sized companies from southern California.

SHAPING THE FUTURE

GBI in strategic alliance with the Lou Myers Scenario Motion Picture Institute/Theatre partnered with Paramount Studios and other successful companies to create a demonstration model that trained close to 100 inner city youth in business incubation and social entrepreneurship to successfully launch a Hollywood block-buster Movie Premier. It was the most successful premier for that movie in greater San Diego.

CORPORATION OF THE FUTURE

GBI served as State Advocate for a collaborative of over 200 major corporations, including Ford and General Motors that exemplified the concept of “cooperating to compete.” GBI later led a group of Los Angeles manufacturing and community organizations, corporations, politicians, colleges, universities and others to undertake a comprehensive program to deploy an Advanced Manufacturing Science and Technology Center. This organization has created revenues of over 1.9 billion for its members over the past ten years.

The Secret of Success

In 1998 Global Business Incubation, Inc. (GBI), a private non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, developed a business incubator for entrepreneurs and small businesses in technology, multimedia and entertainment. This model incubator, the Interactive Multitainment Advanced Technology Center (IMATC), created a technology infrastructure that provides a mix of business services and practices to support start-up and small businesses in the commercialization of their products and services to the global marketplace.

The Secret of Success

GBI–Emerald Vets Entrepreneurial project will produce thought provoking film scenarios to stimulate, educate, inform and mobilize our youth, our elders, our communities and nation to emulate best practices from wealth creation research for positive economic change. The Focus will be “Building the Corporation of the Future” using the leadership of our military Veterans, their skills/experience and the talent of our business professionals, athlete/entertainers, with the thinking from our Fore-fathers while using today’s new tools and technology to create a better future for families, community and our nation.

Words from Leadership

It is with humility and pride, I represent a consortium under Global Business Incubation (GBI), a 501(c) 3 veteran ran operation fundamentally focused on helping our returning veterans and the underserved succeed in business through Business Incubation. GBI’s model is amplified by, and in support of, the objectives specified under Nevada Governor Sandoval’s “Green Zone Initiative” and proclamation of 2014 as the “Year of the Veteran”.

GBI’s goal is to facilitate the commercial viability and success of veterans and underserved innovation, talent, products, services and technologies, helping to “Rebuild the American dream” through job creation.

GBI’s model will serve to inspire our future leaders to strive to be, all that they can be…and more.

President and CEO ANGB Consulting

I am excited about the care that is being sponsored to start servicemen into their own businesses. They have risked their lives to protect this country and I feel that we owe them a debt of gratitude as well as developing the inner cities.

I am just starting Industry of Athletics Infrastructure, which excites me that we can work with veterans in everything that we do. General Arnold Gordon-Bray’s small business incubation model being established in Las Vegas to support our military veterans and underserved community is a way we can all join together.

As a Veteran and a member of the NFL Rams and last surviving member of the Fearsome Foursome (Deacon Jones, Merlin Olsen and Lamar Lundy), I know from personal experience the importance of commitment, teamwork, preparation and leadership with a “game plan” to achieve success.

I am an ordained Christian Minister and I believe that prayer is the key to everything we do. God inspires, motivates and directs us so we can touch the hearts of men and women and put together the organization that will change our society

My experience as a member of the armed services and the National Football League has afforded me a unique understanding of the goals and aspirations embraced by the men and women who serve our country.

Our military champions (veterans) need us on their team…Please join me and our GBI consortium in creating a diversified, sustainable job creation ecosystem for our military Veterans, their families and our underserved business communities…an ecosystem much like that of the Green Bay Packers in the 1960’s lead by Vince Lombardi, my coach and mentor…”winning is not everything, it’s the only thing”.

“Individual commitment to a group effort- that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work”…Vince Lombardi
